I used to mind cars on Rosebery St. You wouldn't have got away with that with our lot.A good friend of mine lived with his mum on Broadmoor Road. Used to park outside his house before home games and the "mind yer car for yer mister" boys would be out in force. Would tell them "my mum lives here" and they always left the car alone....
Did Northside waive the royalties on both tunes used for Granada Soccer Night and Granada Weekend Match?
Well we always knocked on and went in side the house to say hello before so it looked legit that she was my mum lolI used to mind cars on Rosebery St. You wouldn't have got away with that with our lot.

Burgess went to Xaverian College back when it was a grammar schoolFurther to my post about Bishop Bilsborrow, its most famous alumni was Anthony Burgess the author of "Clockwork Orange". I seem to remember JimHarri mentioned along time ago that he went there as well but not at the same time though. I might be mistaken the grey cells are not so sharp these days. By coincidence Burgess attended my infant school St Edmunds Monsall.
