A trip down memory lane around Manchester....

My old mate Dave Kershaw used to live at the top end of Rosebery near to Western St and his mate Steve Curran down near the depot. Both inmates at Bishop Bilsborrow.
I went to Bishop Bilsborrow, up until my second last year in primary school, when we moved to Longsight and I ended up at St Robert's on Hamilton Road. Can't remember anything of my time at BB, only that (I think) a Mrs Quayle was headmistress there at that time (early 1970s). I lived on Claremont Road, near the junction with Broadfield Rd.

Does anybody remember this incident in 1979?
It's at the subways on the junction of Princess Parkway and the end of Palatine Road...just outside of the Post House Hotel.
From what I can remember, the 102 bus heading towards Baguley got hit by a fire engine on the way to a false alarm and ended up balanced over the subways. Some guy got in the Evening News by claiming he was cycling underneath at the time!

She was. Had a different outfit for every day of the school year.

One more person on the jury changing her mind would have meant a 10-2 majority verdict so he could have had a favourite shop in Southall Street.
Madely was a star inTescos security training films for a while.
I can concur with this.
seen the video.
Let’s just say he had a very good lawyer.

I think the make up of the jury had something to do with it. My general info comes from two very different sources, one from Tesco confirming much of what I already knew but also saying how they use the video for staff training.
I think Tesco were quite open about showing it to staff with that commentary in the hope RM would sue in civil court where the standard of proof is very different.
