Pretty mixed day here.

Not a good day for Salford or Wigan or Manchester - wk to wk.

Stockport has not had the best last two days but pro rata still had one of the lowest Pop rises.

The rest really only up a little which kept GM just about on track. Only Bolton was better.

In fact Bolton is doing the best of pretty much all GM boroughs now and yet still banned with Manchester and Salford from travelling to Scotland.

Which is utterly wrong on this data.

i don’t think having the affair is the issue per se.

he is the health secretary telling everyone not to hug their own granny’s and stay socially distance yet he is boning his aide.

same with professor lockdown stay away , don’t go out , socially distance meanwhile I will go and bang my married mistress.

it’s hypocritical. He needs to go.today.

Please joe public plebs minimise interaction and stop the spread of the virus and I will just carry on regardless.
This. I can only visit my nanna through a window with a 2” fuckin gap.
My mums funeral in march had chairs spaced apart and we were encouraged not to hug relatives we havent seen for ages.

do as i say not as i do. Fuck off

Greater Manchester

Weekly total cases:-

Tameside 609, Rochdale 634, Bury 643, Oldham 666 , Trafford 671, Stockport 678, Bolton 728 , Salford 1025. Wigan 1173, Manchester 2363.

Manchester, Salford and Wigan all rising and Salford goes over 4 figures weekly now too.

These three well ahead of the rest.

Tameside went over 600 and the 7 other boroughs all in the 600s bar Bolton which is heading there aby day and catching Stockport fast after a couple of higher scores in SK.

yes agree with this.
out of all the fuck ups he has made, to lose his job because of an affair sums up the state of how far we've fallen.
He surely wouldnt be losing it due to an affair? Its because hes just done the opposite of what hes been telling us to do for 18 months. Guys a cock.

GM Weekly Pop Data after today:~

Borough / Pop Today / 7 days ago / up or down wk to wk/ Testing is % of local population who have tested positive for Covid over past year.

As ever with Pop going up is bad, going down good - the higher the number the better or worse depending on direction moving. The Pop is total cases in past week versus 100,000 POPulation to even out the comparison versus size and expected cases based on numbers living there.

Manchester 428 / 348 / UP 80 Testing positive 11.1%

Salford 396 / 340 / UP 56 Testing positive 10.4%

Wigan 357 / 293 / UP 64 Testing positive 10. 0%

Bury 336 / 323 / UP 13 Testing positive 10.3%

Rochdale 285 / 236 / UP 49 Testing positive 10.6 %

Trafford 283 / 242 / UP 41 Testing positive 8,0 %

Oldham 281 / 211 / UP 70 Testing positive 10.6%

Tameside 269 / 211 / UP 58 Testing positive 8.9%

Bolton 252 / 271 / DOWN 19 Testing positive 11.5%

Stockport 231 / 197 / UP 34 Testing positive 8.1%

Manchester way ahead of everyone and over 400 not far off where Bolton was 5 or 6 weeks ago at the height of the arrival of the new variant. Salford closing in on 400 too,

Wigan accelerating above Bury which is showing signs of stability and up lowest figures.

Stockport and Bolton now the two best boroughs but whilst Bolton is still edsing down Stockport has risen a bit in last few days and has gone from the only boroigh sub 200 to being in touching distance of Bolton which has a real shot of being best in GM just a few weeks after being the worst by miles.

Trafford's high numbers remain worse than Stockport given the population expected cases and even today it lost another chunk of its lead on overall Pop Score.

Stockport now on 8092 and Trafford joined them in the 8000 club on 8002 cutting their lead by another 8 to just 90. It was more than double that 2 weeks ago.

However, Bolton still has the highest GM Pop Score on 11, 493. And the lowest rise today again of just 40.

But Manchester is rapidly catching up in the 11K club going up another 67 today to 11, 104

Rochdale on 10, 637 and Oldham 10, 635 remain locked even more tightly together.

Salford are on 10, 398 and Bury just behind on 10, 325.

But there are now only 3 boroughs sub 10K as Wigan went up by another 63 to reach there too on 10, 014.

So just Stockport and Trafford - both well below - 10K for now - and Tameside on 8952 and sure to enter the 9000 club over the weekend - but 10K even for Tameside is still several weeks away.

I've never known a government before where ministers can do shady deals and break rules they set up with total impunity. It shows total contempt for the electorate and is a throwback to the toffs doing exactly what they want but hammering the serfs for daring to do the same. It's bloody sickening.
Welcome to the United States of Britain!!!

We got rid of our “toff” for an old fella who has spent his entire political life working for the Everyman.

He has grafted and I believe genuinely done his best but deserves sacking for this. Lost any credibility.

He’s fucking up absolutely everything he could have possibly fucked up. Bar maybe the vaccine programme, which makes me suspect it’s the one thing he had no involvement in.

Grafted my arse. And if this is his “best” he has no place doing the job he’s paid to do.

How would you feel if an air traffic controller fell asleep and crashed X number of jets?

“Ah, he’s shite bless him, but he’s done his best.”

Come on…

These numbers are incredibly small, and give no account of asymptomatic carriers.

That said, what are the vaccination rates for these places snd how well do they match up with POP?

It’s long past time that those that WANT a vaccination got one, and those that don’t are left to their own devices!

If you tell people that anyone NOT vaccinated or scheduled for their vaccines by X day of X month will be CHARGED FOR ANY COVID-RELATED HOSPITAL VISIT, as it won’t be covered by the NHS, you’ll see some people have their “Come to Jesus” moment of mental clarity!

The NHS is there to protect the general population of the UK. If people ignore that imperative, and seek to put themselves (and other innocents) in jeopardy, then the social welfare system should speak to their LACK of social conscience and ignorance of the social compact.

SAVE THE NHS worked. Now, DON’T DRAIN THE NHS should be activated!

I, for one, would find that unacceptable!

MANCHESTER 58.9% / 35.6% V 58.4% / 35.4%

OLDHAM 71.2% / 53.0% V 71.0% / 52.8%

ROCHDALE 73.2% / 52.2% V 72.9% / 51.6%

TRAFFORD 77.9% / 57.3% V 77.5% / 56.8%

WIGAN 80.1% / 59,0% V 79.6% / 58.9%

Trafford and Rochdale up by 0.9 did the most today. Wigan joined Stockport with over 80% of locals having had one dose.

Stockport also now 60% with both doses first GM borough to reach that milestone.

Manchester still well behind and not really catching up, Did less than Stockport again today. But at leat closing in one 60% having one dose let alone two.

But at just over a third on both doses it and Salford - still in the low 40s on that score too - are far behind the rest and have the two highest cases and Pop Scores which infers a link between the two.

I post the GM vaccination data for all 10 boroughs every night here (see above) and have posted them here for many weeks if you look back you can track them alongside the cases and Pop Scores as I post them all back to back each evening in this thread after the data is in and I have worked them out.

Thank you. My apologies for not seeing them!

Yet more proof that we’re all mugs for following the rules and more particularly guidance.

isolating when pinged on the app
Social distancing
Work from home
Not shagging someone from another household

All legal and merely guidance not too. All ignored by government who have made the rules

While I don’t think any government in charge could get things ‘right’ during this pandemic, I doubt this government could have got more ‘wrong’.

I’ve deleted the app. Testing myself 3 times a week anyway.

Potentially locking myself in the house because an app says so, when I know I don’t have covid, to ‘protect’ people who’ve been offered a jab but chosen not to have it? Fuck. The. Fuck. Off. My mental health is more important.

A year ago it was a vastly different scenario, but now the whole thing can sod off IMO.

Just thinking about Hancock. Pretty sure he will lose his job in the next week and see his pay down from 150k to 80k. Chances are he will get binned by the wife. Lose his house. Be visiting his kids and go through a few years a bitter divorce battle. All for a bit of a better looking shag for a few weeks. We are all on the tightrope of life and things can change very quickly.
