Anyone who dressess like that as got united or Chelsea written all over them.
That's a good point that I stupidly missed. That part of my reasoning has been assuaged.
I stand by my original point though, I do still see a Kane transfer as impractical. But slightly less impractical than before.
sounds like a convenient shifting of the goalposts there. before it was "he will not be sold under any circumstances", now they are shifting it to the manager to blame him.
I'd imagine Kanes going to have to make a public statement saying he's requested to leave, for Levy to let him go.
Even if it's only a PR excercise
It’s amazing how underrated Gabby is amongst our own fans.
He quicker than Kane (so’s my dead neighbour), he’s more skilful, can take players on better than he can, can work better in tighter areas than he can, works much harder than he does in attack and defence (for the team).
Kane’s a better goal scorer and better in the air.
We’ll see how much better you think he is against a packed defences every week.
The problem with Gabby is he’s played second fiddle to Sergio, so either Sergio plays or none of them, long term.
Gabby has a couple of ‘bad’ games (not scoring), but also working his bollocks off for the team and he gets hooked.
Kane of the other hand has a few bad games and because he’s really the only goal threat he doesn’t get dropped, so gets to play his way back into form (England).
Gabby doesn’t get that luxury.

Because he doesn’t score enough goals. Jesus has many attributes but as a number 9 and a forward the only one he’s judged on is how many goals does he score. We need a player who can guarantee at least 25 goals a season.
He wouldn’tIf Gabi played as much and as regularly as Kane, he would score the goals. Particularly if he didn't play roles asked of him that bring out the best in others and the team overall.
sometimes i read posts on this forum that truly baffle me, but you absolutely took the cake here, haven't seen this level of self delusion in a while
nothing mate don't worry about it keep onWhat is even remotely wrong with any of that?
He had the past two seasons as our no.1 striker. Pep obviously doesn't see Gaby scoring loads for us and hence doesn't trust him as a replacement for Aguero. Kane plays that CL final against Chelsea which Jesus didnot. If Gabi played as much and as regularly as Kane, he would score the goals. I suspect that's why it's taken them so long to find someone to take the job
