I understand it for other tournaments, but I’m not seeing this rag bias you talk about with the tournament.

maguire and shaw have been rightly praised, but it’s not over the top and city players have been praised a lot as well - Sterling in particular.

my advice would be to stop caring about what the media say. If it’s the rag loving media then why read it?

This is how the media works.... spent most of the 2019 / 20 season saying Foden should go out on loan as he is a starter for England in the Euros.
This season acknowledging Pep got it right and saying Foden is a must starter for the rescheduled Euros.
Towards the end of the season they start bigging up Rice. Mount and Grealish saying they are must starters. None of them count beyond 11 to realize the list of players who "must start" is now about 15.
The 2 friendlies pre Euros Grealish becomes a must start.
Sake plays the final group game and he becomes undroppable.....
Sancho is nowhere to be seen, signs for the rags and receives an "Advance straight into the first team, go past the subs bench and collect an England cap" card and he too now, is undroppable.

Maybe the media will turn full circle and suggest Foden should go out on loan to Wales or Norway to gain more international experience?
