That would probably depend on what City value him at compared to the offer we get, I'm surprised there hasn't been news around it since Portugal were eliminated, Bernardo might be on vacation maybe.
 
What’s the general vibes from the forum with this one guys? Made a few posts on the negative side saying good luck with this one for a while now. My non-deluded villa fan buddy made some very convincing points which I agree with. He’s argued for a a year and a half now that it’s 90-110m or he’s staying. For me, that was a non starter. Those numbers haven’t gone away in the links and we’re 10/11 to sign him.

I think it’ll take close to that. He’s saying they’re trying to get an extension and that IMO is deluded.

50/50 seems spot on here, no?

edit: FWIW I think he’s class and the fact that he’s desperate to come here adds another 10-15m in overpaying so I hope It comes off for @FantasyIreland. Would be willing to sell Bernardo to finance it too :-(
 
As a player most importantly, I feel he has a skillset that we lack. A true Pep player who can play various roles. He has a bit of of bite and equally flamboyance.
The nonsense about his hair is just that, nonsense. I do worry about players who do not use their shinpads properly. Surprised managers are not stricter with him on that.
A massive thumbs up from me.
 
I'm indifferent. Good player and would fit well in our squad. Off the pitch he is a bit of an arse. I'd rather we sign a striker. If we get him this year and its on the basis that we dont buy a striker but get Haaland for his release clause next summer then I'll take it.
 
According to my a mate who follows villa and knows someone there. This deal is basically done and will be completed within 1-2 weeks after Euros. Just passing on the info take it with a grain of salt if so be just found it interesting
