Completely different thing in Glasgow :)My mate who delivers coffee to Villa Park says Jack did up the dressing rooms single-handedly and is a whizz with wood, which i presume is the same thing as lumber, so i'm gonna send him instead. Only cost you 88m.
It won't limit his minutes, would be healthy competition, and Grealish has the ability to operate in midfield unlike Foden, not sure how many times it's been said but he's like a 8/10 hybrid, someone who could be taught to play with KDB like David Silva. If the thought of that doesn't excite you then idk. Sometimes if a player is gettable you have to be ruthless and get him from the market before your competitors, Havertz is a good example.Still feel the same about this- perfectly happy with our four wingers at the moment and would be perfectly happy to see Grealish stay at Villa.
Not sure why so many City fans are so eager to see Foden's already limited minutes reduced even further.

Who is to say that all of them are staying? Bernardo and then one of Mahrez or Jesus could leave. What then? Also Foden is clearly not as capable in midfield as he is on either wing, it's Pep's own words, he said that you need to have different tempo playing on the wing and in midfield, but Foden is in the process of learning that, still young. Jack is experienced in that regard and knows how to carry the ball from way deeper like he does at Villa, he is good at keeping the ball and slowing down/quickening things. Imo it doesn't affect Foden whatsoever, it'll be good competition, and we will undoubtedly have exits to balance it. If the club's idea is to get a player like him then obviously it's with a set plan, you can't imply its just throwing money at something.Five players for two positions isn't healthy- it's too much. Even four was too much because Torres found himself not getting enough minutes and Foden spent over half the league season on the bench.
You say Grealish can play in midfield unlike Foden. But Foden can play in midfield. He played in midfield his whole bloody life until Pep randomly decided to put a stop to it. No reason IMO to think he wouldn't have exactly the same analysis of Grealish who is very similar.
I think it's naive to pretend that Foden won't suffer if Grealish comes in, because then Phil has only one position left to play- the right wing- where he's competing with Mahrez, Torres, Bernardo and Sterling, all of whom are actual wingers and so have a huge advantage over him.

He can but he isn't trusted there, not making it up lol. Let's see how many minutes he's played in midfield then. And no it is not remotely comparable.Saying Foden can't play in midfield is like saying Ruban Dias can't play CB...
It was an extreme example to illustrate that I thought it was a ridiculous statement. As it stands he's not needed in midfield as we have the players there who understand the role perfectly and Phil has proved how effective he is higher up the pitch. He can but he isn't trusted there, not making it up lol. Cause and effect though isn’t it. Last year Pep would rather play Gundogan and KDB in the middle with Foden our wide based on the squad available to him so the numbers will show that. That is no telling whether if Grealish is an option he wouldn’t tuck Foden inside and let KDB sit a little deeper. Personally I think there is no reason why Foden couldn’t translate his success out wide into the CAM role.He can but he isn't trusted there, not making it up lol. I think it's about experience and trust factor. If Bernardo is on his way out, we do need a replacement, getting Grealish imo sorts that out. Also I believe it's an upgrade, although debatable, over Bernardo, who's form hasn't quite reached the heights of 2018/19 season again. If grealish comes in he could well play on the wing and Foden could play in midfield? I just can't see how it would limit our options or limit their gametime to an extent where it's damaging to either's progress. It was an extreme example to illustrate that I thought it was a ridiculous statement. I've no doubts whatsoever if he started the season further back he'd be as much a success as he is on the wing.
Agree mate, I think it's important to stress buying Grealish means we are losing a player or two. Obviously otherwise it would make little sense.Cause and effect though isn’t it. Barry DaviesI just hope we sign Jack Grealish, it will make @FantasyIreland The happiest man in the ki gdom. walking on air, lost for words, it won't hit him until he sees him walk onto the pitch with vosened hair and bulging muscles.
Motson called it, " look at his face, just look at his face "
Come on Jack.
