The odds people on here are talking about don't mean anything.Buendia was 4/5 to sign with Arsenal week before he signed with Villa
Yeah but sometimes they tend to know a bit extra, which is why they put odds differently than what we expect them to be. Nobody but the bookies expected De Bruyne to be POTY, which did happen. The odds people on here are talking about don't mean anything.
It's just an aggregate of the news that everyone already knows about, and doesn't add any value.
I don't know why some on here are quoting betting odds. It's not some hidden indicator.
Not Johnny Fcking Evans again!Latest Oddschecker odds 8/11 to City, Evens to stay at Villa. Of course this might not mean anything but just saying.

You mean Kevin de Bruyne, the midfielder who got 13 goals and 20 assists (tying the record) winning POTY was a shock to anybody? He would have been highly favoured by any football fan with a brain. Bookies get no credit for the obvious, especially since he was owed an award at this point.Yeah but sometimes they tend to know a bit extra, which is why they put odds differently than what we expect them to be. They don't know more than the insiders we already see everywhere now, perhaps for the average fan who doens't read any of the news its useful, but not to us.
Then I'm confused by his statement as KdB was most definitely NOT favoured to win it by the bookies.I think the odds referred to KDB in 20/21, not 19/20. He absolutely didn't deserve to win it last season.
Very true, I've never understood why people post bookies odds as if they have inside information on transfers any more than your average hack (or even the average Bluemoon poster). The only reason the odds change is when punters are lumping money on a particular outcome. They're (literally) hedging their bets. They care about profit and nothing else.
