Harry Kane

Not lunacy, an opinion.

For £150m which would you prefer?

A) kane (5 year contract)
B) nuno mendes, camavinga & Alexander Isak. (5 year contract)

Some might say kane, but another opinion is its a lot of cash. Cash that could be better used in the squad. Also its highly reasonable to question that kane can last longer than 2 years, meaning 3 years taking up massive wages for being a sicknote.
I’d prefer not to play fifa mate like you clearly are. BINGO! A Kane hater starts the injured myth. He’s had a lot less time Injured than a certain Aguero, he done ok didn’t he. City know what they are doing

I think that's a false dichotomy. It assumes that the club wants option B which we have no reason to believe and also couldn't also buy option B in addition to option A if they wanted to.

You need to invest in a fan, the heats getting you ratty!!! Those 3 players are reasonable targets. I never said haaland messi & mbappe. I also only pointed out that there is more than one opinion. Who said city didn't know what they are doing, do you? I also like kane, just not for £150m and on a 5 year contract. Hes 28 in a few weeks in my opinion he looks like he won't be a top player after 30, again it's my opinion.

Torres has bags and bags of potential and could be hitting a 40 goal/ assist combo a season

that would be a bonus but i doubt that would happen
am still a firm believer a striker is born not made and city have been short for 5 seasons under pep

The transfer fee and wages only matter if they prevent City from doing other business that would have been better but that is also possible. I don't think they do so welcome Harry IMO.

The people who don’t want Kane seem to make stuff up, just like your price tag, contract length and then predicting his career with nothing to back it up what so ever. After winning the golden boot and top assister you believe he’s on the decline. I’ve yet to see any logic to people not wanting him, some just dislike him and I’d rather that was said. Aguero was battered with injuries and was here until he was 33. Shearer with an awful injury record retired at 35. Off the back of nothing though Bluemoon thinks that in less than two years he will be done. Love it here.

He has the lot, he deserved to play in our champions league final, I'd argue he deserved a spot in front 3 over everyone else on form.
Pair him with Sterling and Haaland up top fed by Foden, KDB et al.

He's shown he is clinical and creative with his scoring and I see him scoring more than assisting tbch

Short for 5 seasons seems to have worked out pretty good then. Except we weren’t just it was just the 1 season, last season.

Why are folk hell bent on talking about how old he is? he's 28 years old. He's in his prime, he puts the ball in the net - and he's very very good at doing so.

He's got a good 4/5 seasons left at the peak of his powers - if he comes, welcome him and enjoy him.

We are buying a striker. Unless you think the actual chairman of the club is a liar
Sergio can stay for as long as he wants (as long as we want him to).

Takes full responsibility for Super League when the dust settles after having an underling sign a letter of apology instead.

What next an actual Prime Minsiter of a country lying? They need to be liars to get the job.

It's an opinion. Nobody is stating it as fact. Why would the Premier leagues best striker (I'm assuming you agree) settle for less than a 5 year contract? Also, forever ppl have been saying "English tax" and levy is a genius, stubborn salesman. Now I'm supposed to believe he will let his jewel in the crown go for less than £150m? These are just a guess, an opinion. They seem a realistic guess. As for why ppl think he will decline after 30, they've watched it happen numerous times. Their opinion is they can see a decline like Rooney, Owen, torres, fowler, etc. You can't say yes or no unless you have seen his physio records, but if you think he will, it doesn't make you incorrect until proven otherwise, as with the opposite opinion. Aguero's a one off, a legend!!! Any other player he would of been replaced years ago.

So if asked if I'd prefer mendes, camavinga & isak for the same fee as kane (roughly) I'd jump at it. Its a huge risk over a minor risk. Those 3 players will always pretty much demand the same fee back if struggling due to age. Kane if and I mean if he drops, breaks down is not going to go anywhere on that wage until he's 33.

All opinions and I don't disagree with yours on kane. But I disagree with you jumping down ppls throats calling it "lunacy" when logically your opinion is the highest risk (albeit possibly highest reward).
