To be fair, the situations he got himself in, or was put in, he should have scored more.
He still rates a 10/10 from me, but more goals would have put him at Balloon D'oor level.

He will score more than he has, simply because we share the goal love around in our team.
Whether he raises his game to a higher level when playing with better, more attack minded, players is the 90 million quid question.
I can't see another player coming in and making a bigger impact on the club than Spanish Dave, but we live in hope.

No they didn’t. He’s been hailed as probably the greatest player this club has ever had. Silva has had nothing but absolute praise from nearly every single person connected to the club.

Go back to 2018, loads of posters wanted him out of the team, out of the Club, some people have short memories.

As a Villa fan, I'm expecting Jack to be with us another season at least.

I'm actually pretty relaxed about the whole thing for a number of reasons.

As someone mentioned, I think Jack was always gonna give us two years after signing a new deal last summer, if we were progressing.

I see people confidently declaring Villa are MILES away from a top 4 challenge. Well there's a lot of believers at VP at the moment that we can get there sooner. Jack's integral to that, though. The owners will fight to keep him, imo.

Time will tell, I guess. :-)

To be fair Grealish hasn’t played for Pep, Sterling wouldn’t have those figures without Pep. Also think Grealish is more a midfielder than a wide forward , and would play there for us, so it isn’t comparable.
