General transfer rumours

Ben White permission to talk to Arsenal. £50m. Ludicrous.
Good player and makes them better. He reminds me of John Stones to be honest. £50m? It's what we paid for Stones so it seems fair. Maybe a bit high considering the current climate but he's a player that should develop. Wonder when the anti-Kroenke start kicking about lack of investment now?

Don't see White for £50 million as a bad deal at all. He's very young, same age as Dias I believe, has all the neccesary qualities to play knock-off Pep football under Arteta and crucially, he's homegrown. Sure, he's only had 1 season in the Premier league and It's a bit of a gamble but it's one that will pay off handsomely if he steps up. One of the better pieces of business Arsenal have done in the last decade in my eyes.

Decent business yes, but he'll be playing under a new manager by Christmas (imo).

If its true we want £40m for Jesus, then we really are charity. In a market where Ben White is going for £50m.

If we were trying to buy Jesus off Juventus they would charge double that.

Txiki would struggle to get £40m for Foden.

They are skint, they will pay a loan fee and then obligation to buy next summer.

We still get our money and in full.

Liverpool have got €12m for someone I have never even heard of.

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has completed his move to FC Porto after five years at Anfield.

The Serbia international returns to the Portuguese club for a fee in the region of €12 million after making 39 appearances during a loan spell last season.

Deals are taking quite long to get announced. top signings in PL are still "only":
Konate 35m Liverpool
Buendia 35m Villa
Daka 25m Leicester
Mwepu 20m Brighton
Guehi 21m Palace
and a couple more on deals between 10-15m...

more or less 200m spent on incoming transfers so far, covid this, cash strapped that, stil expect this to go up close to 800-900m next couple weeks.

Have to say Chelsea selling again is incredible, Tomori sold to Milan for 26m pounds, Guehi an 18 year old with no top league game played by him ever for 21m.
Milan paying 26m pounds for him straight, if its City it would have been years of loan and option for not buying him.

Wasn’t tomori on loan at Milan last season with an option to buy? id argue 26m for him when brighton are selling Ben white for £50m pretty poor business by Chelsea.

Guehu really impressed on loan at swansea. I would again argue that isn’t a great fee for such a highly rated cb who played 40 games and played a key role getting Swansea to the play off final. Not to mention the low fee they got for selling giroud.

I think 47m for 2 players that not needed for first team is pretty good.
Harrison played crucial role for Leeds' great season after promotion only worth 11m and also helped them a lot last season to get promoted.
