But its pretty much in line with what the fucker is ... cowboys come from Texas.
In Norway the word ‘texas’ means ‘absolutely bonkers’ - they see Texas in the movies and everybody runs around shooting each other because they’re absolutely bonkers, so that association has been adopted into the Norwegian language.
Ok so it’s off at a tangent but it amused me when I heard about it.

He's gone completely Bodmin.

It’s too early to say. Nothing of note has happened yet so I don’t think anything of it at the moment.

I‘m hoping that the club wants Kane enough to make it happen regardless of cost. We are that desperate for a proper finisher in my opinion. Grealish would be nice but we’re already ok in midfield so not as bothered. If we don’t sign a striker I think it could be a struggle to win anything this season.

I haven’t seen others strengthening either yet though, just squad players. Who have Liverpool, Chelsea or Spurs signed that improves them? Only rags getting Sancho is shit, but hopefully they still won’t be strong enough to win anything again.

We still have time, deals seem to happen later these days.

As long as we get Kane (or Haaland!) I think we’ll be doing well.

A DM would be nice but with Fern and Rodri we‘re ok. All we need is someone to regularly finish the chances we create. The rest of the team is good enough as we are to win the lot if we only had a reliable striker.

Zinc is decent at LB.
Garcia is no loss at all, Laporte is still here. Even if he leaves we have Aké.

I still hope we’ll get Kane and maybe Grealish done. Remember Khaldoon’s speech about signing quality.

I just can’t believe the club will be satisfied having let Aguero go, knowing how many times missed chances cost us and frustrated Pep. We’ll get it done, give it time.

It is fair to say that administratively, our club is run like a well oiled machine with precision and exact timing. These talks between clubs take place often early doors and after the sounding out phase, due diligence and negotiation has to be seen to be played out, through the media or otherwise. It could be that both Spuds and Vile can't wait to offload their respective 'stars'. In the meantime, we are going along with the charade of playing a game of brinksmanship, who knows? Or not, as may be the case? :O
