Those Grealish numbers are exceptional, especially when you consider that he missed four months of the season. Adding that level of creativity to our team would be ridiculous.
Always feels a little bit like he covers all bases. Its advanced enough to talk about covers City signing him and City not signing him. Basically trying to sound like he knows, whilst at the same time clearly saying he doesn't know.

I don't think hes ever pretended to be an ITK, hes written articles and tweets with a version of events. He has mentioned before he stays away from talking about transfers really because of how quickly they can collapse and then you look stupid.
He said last week he was going to do this Grealish article so hes just adding in that with all the recent rumors, people have been asking about it even more.

I think he some info but to be honest, I think covering Manchester City for transfers is the hardest to cover out of any PL club.
We keep media contact to a minimum and we really don't leak. Contrast to United who are happy to let stories run for clicks/drive on social media.
I think he does a great job of trying to give us information and I don't think it's a case of covering all bases, he just explains the possible ramifications that could happen.
