Wel doesn’t look like the club have changed their mind despite City Matters challenging them. Thanks for trying anyway @Prestwich_Blue it’s appreciated
They could do with reading their own T's & C's.......

They did. It was on renewal main page. They also mentioned other options being available but didn’t confirm (and still haven’t officially) what these areAnd they could of told us before renewing about all of this
i was told by supporters services a few weeksThey did. It was on renewal main page. They also mentioned other options being available but didn’t confirm (and still haven’t officially) what these are
MOBILE TICKETING:
The Club will be introducing mobile ticketing for all matches at the Etihad Stadium for the 2021/22 season. This follows its successful trial at the Etihad Stadium at the Club’s final match of the 2020/21 season.

I really think Supporter Services made a genuine error in assuming a physical card would be available.i was told by supporters services a few weeks
that physical season cards would stil be available.
and that above looks like an option to choose, not mandatory along with print at home tickets
fucking laughable if trueI really think Supporter Services made a genuine error in assuming a physical card would be available.
They only seemed to change there tune last week and feel this was because the info only recently trickled down to them from the powers that be.
They are probably kept in the dark as much as us
No consultation whatsoever either, but they consult on Pie in the Sky projects and ask if we are "excited" about them like we are 8 years old.fucking laughable if true
an organisation , supporters services ( man city help )
employed by the club to help supporters
but what they tell you might not " help "
cos the powers that be can do what they want
do you presume everyone has a smart phone?I’m all for the move to ticketing on your smart phone.
What I do find bizarre is that it’s not been pushed out to people yet? And the portal for moving your tickets across isn’t open.
First game is 3 weeks away.
Are match tickets even on sale yet?
And not just a smartphone but a NFC enabled one. Plenty of budget phones aren’t.do you presume everyone has a smart phone?

Most people fly once a year bit different to potentially 25 plus visits, to the Etihad so printing something off once if you don't have a, printer isn't too much of a hassle, doing it weekly is.It’s a ticket to get into the ground, why should anyone be consulted? Did airlines consult their passengers before introducing it? Pretty sure the same people were moaning when we moved away from the paper books, move with the times ffs.

Also with most airlines you can still get someone to check you in online or do it yourself at the airport which you can't do with city. Therefore you do not need a nfc enabled smartphone to fly they are other options. It seems with City although not confirmed the only other option is weekly trips to use the library printer. That is till the councils shut them all anyway due to budget cuts!

Oh that would be fun! Between 1 and 50,000 people queuing outside the ticket office. I can’t wait to see that. :-)Or just collect from the ticket office on the day?
They have no idea how many fans have the correct technology, that is what they should have consulted on, the unintended or even quite foreseeable consequences of introducing such a policy. The club needs to provide the ticket not assume everyone has a nonce phone. It’s a ticket to get into the ground, why should anyone be consulted? as high as 95% ?no but 95% of adults will have. Whether it’s this season, next or the one after, it’s definitely going to happen so may as well get it over and done with now.
I actually think it will make things much easier with Covid passports when the time comes for that.
