My daughter is working in a pub to boost her funds before going back to uni
Today a vegetarian ordered a Sunday roast, meat on a separate plate so she could give it to the dog, but the potatoes were cooked in goose fat and she wanted the meal served with roast beef gravy

But then she's not a vegetarian. People like her give veggies a bad name. I'm being serious here, i am sick of people saying they are veggie but then eat this and that. I've been veggie since 1989, i don't eat any of it. Trust me, that lady is not vegetarian and if i was working in that pub i'dve told her so!

Why do you give a fuck what random strangers do or don’t eat you weirdo.

My mrs is vegan - doesn’t eat any meat or dairy, but she does eat fish.

I’ll let her know “kippaxkid74 from the internet” is probably annoyed at her for mixing and matching her dietary preferences.

She is an idiot so that probably explains why she doesn't comprehend that all pharma products, new chemicals and many products purchased from the local supermarket are all tested on animals. You cannot live on this planet without being exposed to something that has been tested on animals.

People are vegan and vegetarian for different reasons. For some the thought of eating meat (especially meat on the bone) or the texture of meat makes them feel ill, so they don’t eat meat. They are vegetarians but do order meals that may be cooked in meat juices.

A friend of my Dad’s was a vegetarian. He was brought up in a veggie family. He later discovered that he loved the taste of meat but his stomach couldn’t deal with it.

So he remained a vegetarian. He still wasn’t healthy as he was 25 stone and dropped dead of a heart attack at 50.
 
I have gone on the NHS app entered all my details and downloaded a pdf with a QR code on it.

It says this 2D bar code will show info on your 2 vaccinations, all very good.

However when I scan the QR symbol it gives me a link to CMC Trading; Spread Betting, CFDs, Forex, Shares ??????

Not a clue what that is all about.

Daft labels that people get hung up on. Is there a name for someone who is vegan apart from eating fish? Probably not, as most pescatarians eat dairy as well.
