Do you and Fordy get any pleasure from the transfer threads as you both seem hell bent on looking for negatives all the time.

Let those who manage the clubs finances worry on the affordability, just enjoy the ride.

Isnt Fordy’s gimmick to be as down as possible about all things City? He didn’t post a single time during the period we won 21 games in a row.

By all means voice your opinion but doing so over and over again is beyond tedious.
.
Anyway you're going back onto ignore where I should have left you.
Yawn.

I guess if I just keep repeating how excited i am about him joining like you and others on here and repeating that he's worth £100m you wouldn't have a problem? lol

Perhaps you should get back on your self pointed high horse ?

Love this player.. Can understand why Pep wants and is exited about him..

If you ask me - right now -> who is the best player available, able to fill "DAVID SILVA`s" boots.. The right answer is Jack Grealish..

But if it's right and Pep buys him - what will happen to Bernardo or Foden ?
Heheee - 8 months ago, it was funny looking at the old posts..

Are they saying he's better or worse than Maradona?
Maybe more talented but has a lower profile?
Maradona and Messi have more talent in one strand of hair than Grealish.

As said, Jack is a talented player and hopefully a great signing but a GOAT, your having a laugh.

THere is no suggestion that Grealish has got cold feet. We're just working towards a conclusion. At least I hope so!
Some people on here think he is, they need to grow a pair and reengage their brains.

We as a club don't break transfer records for players that are not 100% certain about US.

Are you indeed lol.

Oh dear, tired of reading something that you don't agree with.

I've got news for you pal, I don't have to agree with you or anyone else.

what are you some kind of self appointed blue moon policeman?

This is a forum for fans to voice their opinion.

You don't like mine scroll past or ignore.
I hope who ever keeps putting 20p’s in you runs out of change soon.

Jack deserves the move. He's a fantastic football player, and i'm confident he will go to the next level being part of this club.

Oh shit he's ancient...

Obviously not what I was inferring. 25-30 is footballing prime. He's hardly the 20 year old sensation many make him out to be.

I'm happy with transfer but I don't know why people feel the need to massage facts to fit their own perception.

A. you don't have to be 20 years old to be a sensation.
B. 25-30 is an arbitrary choice as "footballing prime" do you have studies to back that up? Not to mention your "prime changes per position and the fact even by your random selection, Grealish has still only just begun his prime. Most people in football would agree that most players peak around 28-32 (depending on position/younger if you rely on pace/older if you are a goalkeeper or CB).

Being 25 makes you a young footballer. I'm standing by this. He could be at the club for over 10 years should we sign him.

I think you're right that his talent has not yet been recognised as a GOAT, but it's clearly a bit above Messi & Maradona.

Yeah, he's about to hit his prime and his existing contract covers the entirety of that prime, that's why he costs so much.

Another way of looking at it would be to think if he signs a four year contract what would represent a decent return: 2 leagues, an FA cup and 2 league cups? What would represent a great return: a CL, 3 leagues and a couple of FA cups?
