I said earlier this morning he would need to do his part, not surprised in the slightest, like Mahrez believed he had an agreement that has been broke.

If Kane did have a gentleman's agreement with Levi that he would be allowed to leave if Spurs were crap and a big bid came in from a contender team then he is justified in his actions.

Spurs fans can be unforgiving though - see Sol Campbell - so he will be demonised. I guess the truth will come out in his autobiography after he hangs up his boots. Hopefully it will be a short chapter prefacing those about his trophy winning glory years as a City player :)
