Isn't that just England though? We've had some great players in the last twenty years who just don't do a whole lot at international tournaments.

The question for me is whether he's carrying an injury or if this is just what he is now.

Same as everyone else, last night was poor and those ninety minutes aren't going to be what defines him. However, he looked like someone's pissed up uncle had wandered into the pitch.

He might have a slight issue, Southgate hasn't the bottle to rest him so hes been dragged onto the pitch.

I think his point is probably that because England are shit Kane doesn’t get the service he would at City or any other top PL side.

I am one of those who voted no in this pole.

My concern is that in the last world cup I know he got the golden boot , but overall he was very poor. Mostly penalties and a shot that hit his heel that he claimed.

In the champions league final he was very poor

In these euros he has been very poor again.

Can he play at the top level ? He hasnt done so far. We need a striker to take City to the next level. Kane is good, very good premier league player but at the next level ?

If he is injured I dont want a player at City who puts himself above his team mates. Kane gets away with that at spurs and England, playing when not fit . Big fish in a small pond. Thats not the type of player I want at City.

If Kane is injured he shouldn't be playing for England. If he isnt injured than on his performances in top tournaments and finals over the last 4 or 5 years he isnt good enough for City. Unless City are just concerned about winning the league at a canter.

Anyone who watched the Amazon documentary on Spurs must have been impressed by Arrys pre match team talks, compare them to Vincent Kompany and the difference is scary, Kane is a great striker, but an inspiration forget it.
