Think as others have stated this transfers aren’t done over night, sure this and any other targets would have been in the pipe for some months…

Whether we need him or not - you have to look to improve every season, Grealish is one of the few that is likely to improve us, personally I would have thought a striker and left back would have been the priorities to close first as that (to me) is our bigger need but who knows where those negotiations are at timeline wise

Highly doubt we're doing it for desperation. Think maybe bringing in English players is our new policy, and would help Southgate as well. Just like at a time Guardiola's Spain side was almost known as Barca and Real, England being majority City would be a massive win for everyone involved.

Back again I'm afraid lads. Grealish is due for talks with the Owners, Chief Exec & Dean Smith at some point today. Bid hasn't been accepted yet as they are obviously planning to throw everything at him to keep him but Grealish has already made it clear through his agents that he wants to join City. Problem is he did this with Man Utd last season and then they got hold of him alone and he agreed to stay. Personally I still think he will go this time, massive difference between joining Man Utd or City these days and I think the pull will be too much.

Wouldn't look into him training with the rest of the team too much, he's just fulfilling his duties as per his contract. Interesting that Kane obviously seen that Grealish was as good as done and made a desperate attempt to jump ahead of him though.

Totally Agree - any half decent striker would have a field day in our side the last two seasons, we don’t have to go top end today to fulfill that role…
