From what I can tell it works like one of those cults. You have to create a small pool of 'believers' who hang on your every word. This seems to be done by pretty much 'predicting' everything on twitter or the bbc gossip page then on the basis of the stopped clock being right twice a day creating your own myth of ITK credibility.
Method two is like those dodgy clairvoyants that predict 'something big happening sometime soon'. When eventually something big does happen you claim it for your ITK status.
Once ITK status has been created it's then just a case of maintaining it with some cryptic clue style 'info' during each transfer window while your true believers police the forum for anyone daring to point out that it's all bollocks or question the ITK messiah.

I had Sanchez at 16's, watched it go to 1/20 then cried on the day when it rapidly switched
