Harry Kane

With the money Chelsea are having rejected for Haaland and Lukaku, I think a bid for Kane will be coming soon. That would boil Spurs piss more than him joining us.

That would be a problem, imo. I think Chelsea can offer everything we can. Money and success. You'd like to think Kane might fancy a stint away from the Capital though.

If its true he has already spoken to a non english City player about his desire to join us, i think we are in prime position and all we need to worry about is agreeing a deal with Spurs and Levy and not any other clubs.

You are the richest club in the world mate, all that 23 years repaying a billion pounds will be recouped if you reverse the decision not to open the VIP cheese room…
We have debt yes, but its nearly all long term, is anyone with a mortgage now classified as "skint", laughable. There are many other clubs in a lot more difficulty than us.

Do you understand the difference between long term debt and short term debt? Do you understand the ability to refinance long term debt? Are Spurs in a position of having to sell players to service debt or even other players wages? Nope, even after a season with no fans we still arent in that position. Its not the amount of debt a club has that is the danger its the period that debt covers and the amount that needs to be paid to service it.

Kane missing training this week in protest over not being allowed to move, yet some on here still claim Tottenham are in massive debt and need to sell...

As I've said all along he will not be sold this summer, Harry and Charlie are aware of this and realise there's nothing they can do about it, he cannot go on strike forever as a year wasted with no football isn't good for him, he's a player who strives to be great. They know about Haalands 2022 release clause and worry that this summer window may be his only chance, which is why they're pushing hard for it to happen now, but the length of contract means it would take a ridiculous offer from City to make it happen.

Ultimately they've accepted there's not much they can do at this stage as Spurs wont budge and City wont overpay, missing a week of training seems to be their way of saying were not happy with the situation.
