Not being held to ransom at the moment as we don't know what is really happening maybe its just due process like buying a house

I don't believe this kind of thing, to be honest. I can't see everyone just standing around waiting while Grealish does a few games of Rondo and makes up his mind on the biggest transfer in British history. Feels much more likely that it's some kind of contract/legality/accounting thing to make the final adjustments to before things can go head.
