They must have been seriously pissed off with him after last summer to not even try this year.
It is mad that whilst he's on stage crying and saying he's not closed anything with anyone, Paris have briefed that it's done to them. Was Leo's dad in the room or was he on Zoom with Nasser? Haha.
He's obviously going there, which is sad on a number of levels; especially when he obviously wanted to join us last summer.
I do wonder how PSG can legitimately afford to sign him, given the numbers that appear to be involved.
Signing a guy who has made such a show of not wanting to leave his club now would feel odd. One of the good things about signing Jack has been knowing how steadfast he has been for several months about wanting to join City and how obviously delighted he is to be here now.
That’s what they talk about in Argentina, questioning his identity as opposed to Maradona. And this title has made him more “their own”. Something hard to explain unless you have followed closely for yearsFeels more Argentinian than ever is a weird thing to say though.
Agreed. I didn’t mean so they would change their rules, just to make them look like the clowns they obviously areI think that boat has sailed, he is clearly leaving.
He’d tear this league apartParis, as a gazzillionaire is way more attractive than us, I reckon he’d go there even if we offered more money and nyc as incentive. Honestly can’t believe we’re even close to being an option for him.
He’d be nuts to come here, way to competitive a league and frankly a waltz around the French league on 25m a year must be like winning the lottery when you’ve already won it once.
To be honest if he's happy, I'm happy for him. And I respect how decisively PSG have moved and got this done. City/Pep know they could've done it, but they have clearly taken the pragmatic view that he wasn't planned for and they're not ripping their plans up to do it.
Accounts will make it look like £40 a week lolThe wage bill at PSG must be through the roof !
Barca’s wage to revenue ratio is currently at around 115%. Even without Messi’s wages, it’s still 95%. La Liga’s salary cap is set at 70%. So even if Messi played for free,Barca couldn’t register him.Presumably he could have stayed and played for free.

got this done? bit presumptuous there. To be honest if he's happy, I'm happy for him. And I respect how decisively PSG have moved and got this done.
