According to them, they can register aguero depay and garcia. If that is true. Removing Messi's wages with his contract expiring gave them that, according to Laporta.

Regardless, it is stated as a standalonenone liner, out of context. If for example they moved dejong on, they could register a whole bunch. Even more if they moved griezman.

They’re saying a lot of things at the moment. Messi could be registered until last week.

If they can register their new players, why haven’t they already done so?

True, they say all sorts.

The new players are there. They are training, they are getting paid, they have kits and all sorts. They can play in the cups, and in the CL. Whether they will be registered for la liga as Laporta claims, we will know on the 31st.

Devil's advocate of semantics though. Most stating 'they can't register new players' are simplynechoung an untrue assumption in isolation.

I agree with you, but there hasn’t been a situation like this before at a top club.

Everything is up in the air and there’s a lot of smoke and mirrors being deployed to mask what is really going on.

I still go back to the question regarding why they haven’t registered their new players if they now can do so. You may be right and they just haven’t bothered, but that seems bizarre to me.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'why they haven't registered players'. Nobody has registered any players. Because that happens on the 31st. The lists won't be published till after that, so it is all speculation till then. The players are with them, it isn't like they are waiting. Shit may or may not hit the fan, we will see. I hope it does. But as a statement that they cant register anyone, it is a bit if a runaway train, currently. Like there is some rule preventing the from registering anyone at all.

As far as hypotheticals go, they can swap players, sell players, sign players just like anyone else, as long as the figures add up in the end.

We’ll know at the weekend as they play their first league game on Sunday.
 
If FDJ's wages are a stumbling block then surely we consider Sual...especially as athletico want bernardo!?!
