Harry Kane

Being 30 million apart in Valuation is not the definition of close wtf are you talking about, especially as it's been reported everywhere that city are not willing to pay 150...
We are getting Kane for 120million and Levy will say thank you, spurs are in serious debt!!

We don't have a plan B. We will go with false 9. Bid for haaland next summer
It's just noise I'm afraid. Can't see us being involved in a bidding war for Haaland. Much as I'd like to see that. Can't recall the last time we involved ourselves in a race for a big player. Especially not a Raiola client.

How fucking thick are all the Spurs supporters who have pitched up this summer.

That absolute state of this berk for example. If City value Kane at 120 and Levy wants 150 then that is the fucking literal definition of close. You have to be a blind moron to continue to peddle the bollocks you're peddling. Then again, I've come to the conclusion every Spurs fan so far who has signed up this summer isn't a Spurs fan at all. You're all Arsenal fans doing your best impression of a Spurs fan. Fucking weirdos either way.
Wow, summed up in one post how far some Man City fans have been removed from reality. £30,000,000 is now the definition of close? In what world is £30m close to anything?

Maybe - in a negotiation - if you want 130 you'd ask for 150.

If Levy wanted 150 wouldn't he say 180 to end up in the 'compromise' of 150 he was exactly looking for?

We just need Sunday's game out of the way. Kane's involvement/lack of will tell us a lot. Also interesting to see how their fans react to him. Social media is unreliable, but it seems there are a large element of their fans who just want him gone now so they can move on and get replacements in.

It all feels very like the Grealish deal to me. He returned and trained with Villa, but we now know that was just while the formalities were being wrapped up. I also think seeing Grealish make this move and cope with the fan backlash is motivating Kane to make sure it does happen. He knows it's very likely this season or never.

Of course it’s fucking close. City will obviously go slightly above £120m and Spurs will obviously take less than £150m.

Therefore somewhere in the middle with a few shitty add ons will get the deal done after the weekend.

Guaranteed.

My daughter and her family live in Glasgow, I've never been able to get my head around this Fish supper thing, it's just Fish and fucking chips and it's mainly eaten at tea time, not with your Horlicks before you go to bed
I've been in Edinburgh for over two decades and still struggle to order two small pieces of fish with one large portion of chips.
If you ask for fish and chips, the chances are high that you will end up with fish and chips and chips.

In the world where people know GCSE Maths. Either you can look at it that City are 80% of the way to the fee or that City need a 25% increase on their fee. But that's close. People move in negotiations. The real numbers are probably that City are about 90% of the way to the fee and need a 15% increase on the fee.

i swear there's been 10 different stories this summer of spurs being "surprised by reports that..."

Am I lead to believe this club has literally any clue what's going on?

Seriously fella, why are you wasting your time on another clubs forum, do you not have a life? Also all you are doing is putting across your own blinkered views. Do us all a favour and bugger off. We come on here for news about city targets, however biased our views are, its what is city fans want to read, you would be the same on your own forum. Now pisss off and stop posting arguments with my fellow blues you officious little prick
I have to be honest here and say that I do come on to read deluded Spurs fans putting across their blinkered views.

For example...

I'd say the definition of keeping things in proportion is to state that 120 is only 20% short of 150...

If I was selling something and said I wanted £150 and someone offered £120, I'd say we were close to a deal.

No?

What makes you think Levy is interested in negotiating? It sounds like £150m is the minimum to even get Levy to listen.

Speak for yourself. Some of us come on here to talk about chips.

Would love us to just tell levy to do one and walk away from kane!

we are the only club in for him, the only club willing to pay over 100 million for a want away striker and Spurs have clearly spent the kane money already!

You haven’t offered £120 though, you’ve offered £100 with add ons potentially taking it to £120/130

Because Daniel Levy is not some behemoth comic book character like Spurs fans talk about him. He's a businessman and not a particularly great one at that on the football side.
