Levy keeping hold of Kane - who doesn’t want to be there - is like keeping hold of a Ferrari he doesn’t want to sell us, when we’ve already got the keys and logbook.

The mistake you continue to make is using the concepts of "journalist" and "respected" in the same sentence.

The back pages / twitter feeds etc are designed to push your buttons, to either interest or outrage you into buying papers / subscribing to online versions.

Being 30 million apart in Valuation is not the definition of close wtf are you talking about, especially as it's been reported everywhere that city are not willing to pay 150...

The fact we've heard it's Kane and only Kane, there is no plan B should give our fans enough confidence of a deal getting done.

But for the sake of answering, if no Kane, no one else. We go in with what we have.

I just have one question. If Mr. Gold and Romano are both very reliable, why did this very week Mr. Gold claimed Kane would sign a new contract and Mr. Romano said there's no chance Kane signs a new contract?

It's near/close/negotiations ongoing/an agreement could still be possible/City have upped from their initial stance of just £100m to £120m + add-ons/Kane still wants Levy to fuck off and to just take the money like he usually does and move/Kane absolutely wants gone just a matter of time the two clubs reach an agreement.

How do you want it written? Close doesn't mean 'deal closed' btw.
