We only paid £43.5m for Bernardo.

cannot see now any club pay us 50m euros for him which is around 42m pounds. and he is worth much more than that.
where could sign now a player for 40m with the level, skills, experience of Bernardo? we would be charged much higher than this if we would be in for him.

It's not concerning at all.

If we aren't offered the correct fee, he stays and we retain a Wonderfully gifted footballer. Bernie will get his head down and work hard if a move doesn't happen- he knows the deal. If we receive a suitable offer he can go and if not he stays.

It is in his agents hands now, that is what he pays him for, but money wise i doubt very much anyone can afford him, so a straight swap is the most likely outcome just very messy.

Atletico need to shift Saul. Once thats done they will either loan with obligation or pay cash for Bernardo. We paid 43m for him, had 4 cracking years. I dont think we will begrudge not making a profit on him.

I begrudge it a little bit. He's an amazing player and he should be going for near the same price as Jadon Sancho, maybe a little less.

Why though?

His goals and assists are nowhere near the same level and I don't even rate Sancho that highly. I fully understand his role for Pep but let's be honest. For any other club than ours, if they are spending big amounts they want huge returns in assist and goals and Bernardo has been struggling for 18mths.
 
With Madrid selling Ødegaard, it will be interesting to see if they make a move for Bernardo.
 
Apparently Juventus and Real want Laporte and have had talks but they are both skint and want a loan deal ,go and f*ck off , why should we give either of these pair of cunts of football clubs any favours , they are first in the queue to back UEFA and try to get us banned for two years with FFP. If they want Laporte then pay the £65-70m he is worth i want a Lamborghini but i cant have one so i will settle for a Mondeo , well Real and Juve can try and persuade the Rags to part with Phil Jones if they are potless.

Disagree massively, he, like the last time KDB was out, was essential to keeping us balanced, December onwards he was brilliant and if you’re looking at anyone in this squad who provides the much needed energy for Peps system, you’re hard pressed to find better...

If he wants out, fine, however. I’d be fighting tooth and nail to retain, exceptional player and another who is marginalised against our perceived stars.... been a great servant and under appreciated by far to many!
