Weren’t required at the swamp according to rag mates

I’m not sure what this “ COVID passport” thing is about because there is no COVID passport. Swear people will talk themselves into this requirement. The NHS app maybe a thing in England but I can assure you in NI it’s not. You get a card similar to what your dentist would give you for a reminder of an appointment and that’s your lot.

What do the Premier League protocols say?

  • Supporters could face random spot-checks of their Covid-19 status
  • This means proof of full vaccination or a recent negative lateral flow test
  • Supporters must follow a new 'supporter code of conduct' which includes wearing masks indoors, avoiding close contact and following one-way systems.
While it is not yet mandatory to check supporters' Covid-19 status, Chelsea became the first top-flight club to announce fans would need proof of being fully vaccinated or a recent negative Covid-19 test result in order to attend games at Stamford Bridge.
Stewards will check the Covid-19 status of fans at the "point of entry".
The criteria will apply for men's and women's games involving the club.
Tottenham and Brighton trialled the same system during pre-season friendlies ahead of any potential rule changes.

Okay but the Etihad and every away ground is in England not NI. The covid passport exists here and is required.

But not law and not required for the sardine like tram with no windows. More senseless posturing from the PL.
Agreed and not logistically possible on a 54k crowd but would not want to be the one caught out not carrying the right papers and sent to the cooler.

Seems there is a NHS app available in NI

On the mainland its NOT the NHS Covid app just the standard NHS app which you can use for all NHS related topics

Yes the app is available but is not required by law nor is it law. Thank you for the help though. I feel this is going to cause a lot of problems. Remarkable that this vaccine is being pushed and pushed yet there doesn’t seem to be one single ad for it. Yes the narrative is there distancing mask stuff but the jab no. Maybe that’s put them in a legal quandary as in the pharmaceutical companies. I also disagree with any football club trying to enforce laws that aren’t actually laws. Again thank you

Just wanted to thank you again for bothering. Out of curiosity I looked at the links. 1. I cannot do an NHS one as postcodes from NI are not accepted. 2.I looked at the NI one you linked and it’s so so and you also need android. I of course am Apple. I’ve quite a few views on this “ pandemic” but to say it’s a total shitshow would be an understatement! Fuckin joke the whole thing. Now facing football clubs trying to police an unenforceable rule.

hi just a quick question does anyone know if you need a negative test to get in against norwich this weekend if you have not had the jab?

Yeah you do. You can order lateral flow tests from the NHS, they arrive after a couple of days. Just order a load now mate, they'll arrive in time.

Do one at home a day or 2 before the game and upload the negative result online. Take proof of that and you'll be fine. That's if they ask for it on the way into the ground.
