Erling Haaland

This is nonsense. Footballing ambition doesn't equal City or Pep. This is the kind of stuff Rags used to say a decade ago and it made so many of us cringe.

We hope he comes here if we show interest. But it's no given. And not coming here is not a show of lack of ambition. Frankly, to go somewhere lesser and them mount a challenge to City, might in fact be a greater show of ambition.
And whether people care to admit it or not, rags are Haaland and a central midfielder away from winning the league. Or at least running us/Chelsea all the way to the last game. He doesn’t have to join City or Chelsea to win the Premier League. A lot changes in football from one season to the next.

PSG could replace Mbappe with Haaland too.
Will all be about money, Riaola will be going for the record on this one for creaming money, Could easily be £40 Million+ and Alfi and big chunk too. They fuckin despise him the Rags for rinsing their club, Tbh I can't see it happening, He's probably pissed off today after his beloved White Rose were battered off the Cunts.

If after September 1st we don’t have Kane in our squad, all the people maniacally defending Kane in every thread will change their tunes and will start arguing the project has to be Haaland next summer. Until then Kane is everything we have ever needed and a God etc... I get it. Let’s wait and see.
Totally bizarre eh

The kane deal wont be far off what we could have gotten Haaland for if the player was convinced he wanted to come here,i dont think he ever was or does.I believe the club got wind of that and switched attention.

It has to be this. Like many I’d far prefer him because of age and the potential to maybe improve from such a high standard already. If we miss out on Kane I wonder if Dortmund could be tempted in January if they were to get knocked out of CL or something. Math never really worked for them to sell him this summer because he could be the difference between making CL or not but at the fees we may have to go to for Kane you’d have to think Dortmund would have considered

It's madness that we might have to pay 150M for player that might not have been our first choice.

More necessity than madness.

If Haaland isn't available, for whatever reason, then we have to go with the next best option - which is Kane.

A huge shame though,as apart from him obviously being the best young striker on the planet (he reminds me more and more of a prime Zlatan) he and us would have been a match made in heaven.I think our club has done everything to attract him,but it wasn't meant to be and so a decision needed making.

Unfortunately another club is going to get a game changing worldie, and that is what hurts.

Pay the boy... and his agent...

He could be the face of the club and the Premier league for the next 10+ years, he will win the Ballon D'or one day, I'd rather it be with us.
He wants to go to madrid and he would be asking for insanely high wages every contract renewal. I prefer Kane tbh, then wait for delap to develop or get someone else

He has absolutely everything. Tall, physically strong, quick, can create and can finish. I would have thrown everything at him. I think he would have been obtainable this season for about £170m all in. Given that we could easily get 10 years out of him, it would seem much better value than £120m for Kane. The only question for me is the wages he’d demand and whether that would make the overall price prohibitive. Then again, he’d be a commercial magnet. Perhaps not on the same scale as Messi, but certainly on a significantly larger scale than Kane.

We will have Kane, but City wouldn't miss the chance of adding Haaland at the right price.

That's why we won't get him. The total cost will be ridiculously high, hence the rags being likely front runners.
I think this is why they’ve given Cavani another year. They expect Haaland to come next year and Pogba’s wages to be gone!

Then, they get rid of Martial and a few others, and Bob’s yer uncle.

I’m not sure how his Father could let him go to the club that ended his career, but if it sets him (Alfe) up for life, too, then I guess money talks louder than Keane’s studs to the knee!
