We got 37 games to save ourselves.

The only problem is Levy isn’t a great business man, putting your fingers in your ears and just saying no doesn’t count btw.If he had said “Harry Kane is a great player, we need to speak to him and convince him to stay”
thankfully the likes that run spurs and City don’t work off one games
Is that a reputable info? Bad weekend for you guys tooWell it would seem Spurs are looking at Bamford as a potential Kane replacement so I guess we are now actually involved.
Plus a wantaway player, who will have to be kept away from the dressing room and a mop of spuds fans who now hate his gutsBut we’re not going to bid against ourselves are we? We’re holding a knife at each other’s throat. The reported £120 million plus realistic add ons £150 million is reasonable all round I think. Beyond that you can argue until the cows come home who loses out more for no sale. City going into a season without a striker, same as last season (although we didn’t know that at the time), or Spurs with their huge stadium that needs paying off on the back of a COVID affected season and no other asset that is going to be worth the same amount next year?
In my humble opinion we get affected for a season, Spurs get affected for a decade.
Mike McGrath who is normally fairly good with LeedsIs that a reputable info? Bad weekend for you guys too
I know mate but we are all wasting our time talking about Haaland. Especially this summer. He isn't going anywhere
the mahrez chance, the torres tap in and the chance he got from a kdb pass. u cant tell me kane wouldnt have done better from those. we do need a striker
honest to god I don't actually care anymore if we get a striker. genuinely don't think that was the difference today at all. I can very vividly see this exact same performance with kane/haaland/mbappe/whoever. the structure of the team is just wrong and we are missing attacking *ideas* rather than personnel
was very disappointed to see we are likely getting back last season's sterling and now euros sterling, too. was really rooting for him.
having said all of that would be nice to be proven wrong and have a striker be all it takes to really unlock the full potential of this team, which honestly, despite our amazing achievements last season, I can't be the only one feeling we were far from showing our full capabilities, right?
lets be honest if Levy was watching the same game he saw as well we are desperate for a top finisher. if he cannot use this game as a tool to negotiate a better deal he is a fool.
the delivery today was really fucking poor (aside for KDB) so that doesn't fill me with too much hope.Thing is, when we struggle to break a team down, we cross it. We have a few players with a joke of a delivery - namely KDB and Mahrez - who Kane would have a field day with.
Not only that, world class strikers like Kane have the positional sense to get on the end of things that don’t look threatening. I guess after 2 seasons without Aguero we’ve forgotten that a little bit but having a clinical striker makes so much difference.
The thing what surprises me the most is that it seems like we really do not have any other striking alternative lined up. It's Harry Kane or nobody, which is really odd. As long they can take it over the wire nobody is going to complain about it. But imagine that this deal with Kane doesn't happen, questions has to be answered.
Had enough chances to win 3 games. Same every time against Spursthe mahrez chance, the torres tap in and the chance he got from a kdb pass. u cant tell me kane wouldnt have done better from those. we do need a striker
