It’s an average of £19.5 million per season since 2003. I haven’t got breakdown figures, but Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe were the larger and much more recent purchases that would’ve bumped those figures up. Some way behind ourselves, United and Chelsea’s investments in the playing staff.

Ah after the Bahamas holiday, gotcha. So reading between the lines, has Kane extended his holiday to force isolation ahead of City game??

I think he fucked us over in 2020 but not this Summer, I don't think we were ever interested this year purely because of what happened last year (and in 2016 etc etc).

Whether Kane shat himself and backtracked, we don't know, but it did coincide with his 'statement'.
 
I really don’t get the melt down after yesterday, we didn’t learn anything we didn’t already know! We knew the limitations of the starting 11 in the same way we did against Leicester. Realistically we’ve been narrowly beaten by 2 teams who will be fighting in the top half of the table come the end of the season and we did it without Walker, stones, zin, Rodri, Phil, Harry and pretty much Kev too…. That’s 2/3 of our best 11!

To be fair, he backed it up by listing the actual scenario; extended his holiday, the interview, missing training then having to isolate all meaning he didn't play yesterday. When you add all of that together, it's evident he wants to leave. Dawson didn't want to have any of that which is obvious bollocks.

It's pretty obvious by now that he wants to go. It's just whether A) Levy lets him and B) we can strike a deal.

I presume we sounded out Kane well in advance, but Levy was never going to make negotiations easy, which we would have known and which is why the stand off should surprise nobody. Kane’s absence from the ground yesterday was the clearest indication yet that he’s coming, but Levy will draw it out for as long as he can.

Bahamas is a county you have to self Issolate from, Kane was staying at Joe Lewis place so Spurs were fully aware. a lot of players who played in the Euros weren't playing this weekend as hardly any time for real rest. Sky are a nightmare and just want the story to run and run so say anything to make headlines
