I don't think it's happening anyway mate, have we actually improved our 100m offer, nobody knows. But if we're not willing to budge it's not happening, Levy will hold firm with his ridiculous valuation

It's likely that the exclusive has been the only story close to true this entire time. Everything else has just been PR one way or another.

Whenever he does eventually sign there's likely going to be some big exclusive from The Athletic revealing how all this was sorted a long time ago. It's pretty obvious Sam Lee is sitting on some info but he's not going to spill the beans and undermine his colleagues.

Hoddle was a god at Spurs and will still be highly regarded by all at that club, I hate the boring ****, but he'll definitely have an inside track at Spurs.
 
Daily Express reports that we are offering £130 million plus Bernardo. Absolutely ridiculous, especially given that Bernardo is worth £45 million and wants to leave the UK. Please can we leave Kane to rot in London.

I voted no for Kane

One of my reasons was I didnt want City to get drawn into dealing with Levy. Transfers with him never go smoothly.
City were bitten by Messi last year and City didnt get a forward in. Now City are dealing with Levy to try and get a forward in. If City go two seasons without getting in a forward that's bad management.

I dont know who City should have gone for, but I would steer clear of any spurs players all the time you have to deal with Levy.
 
Just trying to piece everything together from all the stories that have been coming out recently. Appears we have struck a deal that will work for both parties, potentially haggling over add ons. Meanwhile Spurs are briefing hes not for sale and including him in European squad list so they don't get burnt on their own transfer dealings to replace him. Issue is no fucker wants to go there so we have to sit around and wait for them to get themselves in order before we can get Kane. Concerning waiting for that seeing how they fucked around getting a new manager in.

Worst thing we’ve ever done since the takeover was let the world know we were desperate for a striker. If we thought kane wanted to come why didn’t we just make this 120/ 130 plus add ons before the euros even started.
