Why’s he never stayed anywhere or played for a top club if he’s so good?France, Spain, and then back to France.
He’s out til NovemberIf Aguero isn't happy at Barcelona, we can bring him back. LOL.
The club is indeed run extremely well but that doesn't mean that every department inside the club are on the same level (like every other businesses there are differences within organisations, and also inside organisations it's very common that people get replaced if they are underperforming). Anyway we still have 2,5 weeks left. We'll see what will happen. But we do need a striker, no if ands or buts. But we know the club is extremely well run, so what ‘seems’ bad planning from your viewpoint, is most likely the wrong view. It may not be, sometimes the best people make errors, but that is the most likely thing because those errors when they happen are usually one off bad decisions not long term planning.
Wouldn't know mate, not my suggestion either. People are suggesting any striker they think might be available hahaWhy’s he never stayed anywhere or played for a top club if he’s so good?
Not that you were being serious but he's out for 2 months injured. If Aguero isn't happy at Barcelona, we can bring him back. LOL.
Looking at the tits and tears on here I'm guessing yes.Is it 100% off
Works hard? Are you mad?If it’s an alternative to Bamford then I’m in. Just checked and his release clause is 82m, I’d take a punt as he’s a good age, already lives locally, is hungry, works hard and can finish
Minor detailHe’s out til November
Exactly, Pep and others at the Club have been saying for weeks that we may well end not signing a striker and that we will use the players we already have. The comment this morning that Delap is not going out on loan indicates that this (plan B) is already underway. What would be bad would be buying the wrong striker just to get someone.
If the club don't think there is a suitable alternative to Kane, then we go with what we have.
It was the first game, not our strongest line up and clearly lacking fitness. Too soon to panic.I agree with this. Striker is not a position where we can paper over the cracks for another season unlike left back where it is just about possible.
The Spurs game gave me a case of deja vu from last season - so little threat when we attack a packed defence. Pep did brilliantly to cope last season but I cannot see it working twice in a row.
Only having one option who is tied to a long contract at a club with a chairman like Levy is nuts.
His work rate is why united fans hate him
Yesterday's outcome reallyWhat’s caused all the doom and gloom?
Two alternatives if this doesn't happen, Sarr from Watford who I think we could turn in to a top player, or a cheeky late swoop for Vardy, what do people think?
We lost the league yesterday. What’s caused all the doom and gloom?
If we did it wouldn’t solve our problem with not having a proper striker. A proper striker yesterday and we probably don’t lose that game even with trouble at defensive mid or left back, if our solution is a false 9, Jesus or delap then strap in for a very long season.Exactly, Pep and others at the Club have been saying for weeks that we may well end not signing a striker and that we will use the players we already have. The comment this morning that Delap is not going out on loan indicates that this (plan B) is already underway.
To be completely honest I would much rather we invested some money in a proper left back and Defensive Midfielder.
We will always score goals even without a number 9. We can’t continue to play Mendy and rely on Fernandinho to play like a 25 year old.
Rather bring David James back to play up front.Looking at the tits and tears on here I'm guessing yes.
Anyway.....Martial?
Get it done Blues.
