i don't think chelsea was really in for him and it was a bluff by the agent ? dortmund would be foolish letting haaland leave for £63 million next season. like i said if they don't have a new deal for him or he does not want to sign a new deal then they have to sell this transfer window ?

maybe kane going to city could be part of the reason why and spurs may look at a deal for haaland with the city money ? spurs could land haaland for a down £100 million plus add-ons and a sell on percentage

let be honest here the jack grealish deal was done last season and he almost said the same thing in the interview
so the money for that was already done and sorted. city and pep have said that money for a striker would have to come from sales and other ways

so maybe city just don't have the money spurs want right now and players need to be sold. then spurs get a down payment and city get kane

Personally I don’t think Maguire should even have been a consideration; we should have paid what it took the season before to get van Dijk! But that’s ancient history now and Dias proved to be a remarkable signing.

Just one problem with that. He only ever wanted a dipper move. we were never in the running.

I voted no in the poll. I'd change it to double no if I could. Not because Kane is shit, but the fact that we are being absolutely rinsed by Spurs. F*cking awful club.

I honestly think that before we pronounced our undying love for Sir Harold of Tottingham we should have wafted a cheeky £100M bid in for Haaland. Who knows what would have happened.

All I know is that if we end up getting rinsed by Levy for £150M+ we open up a huge can of worms and we'll end up getting what we deserve.

We waited too long and should have sorted striker long ago with a surer thing availability wise. We now look the club who is fine with check booking our way to filling gaps breaking back to back transfer records instead of looking at younger less expensive talent. At this point we're painted in a corner... a Kaneless squad gave Levy a bargaining chip. We looked lack luster, outplayed and outhustled. if we end up w/o a true striker this season we will fight for top 4 much less win it and that's not flapping, it's a fact. Others have strengthened greatly and over come injuries while we are now playing a different chorus of not having replaced Kompany years before we needed to now in the key of Aguero.

An equivalent to Cavani (experienced and not a long term investment) should have been lined up as soon as the decision was made to let Aguero go and that player would have been ready to start the season. That would have at least given us some positional security if we then wanted to go chasing Kane. Now we're up against a ticking clock.

I’ve seen them play. And the fact Delap never gets a look in. He has potential but he’s not yet a top 4/CL level main striker.

Torres offers very little, I believe he’s mid-table Spanish side level. Too weak, slow, no dribbling or heading ability. Never a top class striker. At best he’s an average winger, albeit a slow one that can’t beat his man.

Of course Delap isn't ready yet (and there's no guarantee he ever will be) but Kane had 2½ years out on loan at 4 different clubs before playing for Spurs at 20(?) years old, Delap is still 18 and has barely played above U23 level.

Not exactly a fair comparison from anybody, a 28 year old Kane against an 18 year old Delap.

Aubameyang has been wank for over a year. Lacazette isn’t great either. If we don’t sign Kane we’re pretty fucked. Sign a left back and a pacey midfielder and we may have half a chance going with a false 9 again.
