Fuck right off, he's a smarmy all about me me me me player, wouldn't want him anywhere near the club, and I personally dont think he would "tarnish" his united links ,because when his career is finished there's money to be made off the back of united for him

We've had plenty of ex United players. It's not the most absurd idea of Ronaldo as a stop gap. He would be quite cheap to obtain

It's not about united for me, I just don't like his all about me attitude, when other players score he's not interested, but as I said he won't want to spoil his links with united
 
There's not a chance we would go for this egotistic tosser. If the club have put this out there, then its a red herring to Levy to get this transfer done or he could loose out.
 
Upsides:

Boils rag piss, cheap for a year of top quality, can tell levy to get fucked, we save £100m for future signing or sign DM/LB which we so desperately need.

Downsides:

Ego and wages.

I'd 100% take him on a 12 month deal with an option of an extra year but highly doubt pep will.

Not sure he thinks he is a rag legend and I very rarely hear him called a legend from rag fans.

Yeah I can't see pep wanting him but as an option I think we could do far worse.

Obviously we need options as only 2 weeks left and kane deal looking like it went off a cliff. He's proven himself in the prem so I'm totally for it as a 12 month deal

Why wouldn't Pep ? Be only manager to coach both Messi and him. Don't think it's happening but like others have said good stop gap for a year. Can't believe just said that about one of the best players of his era. How far we have come....
