Couldn't support him. Don't care that he played for United or what his age is.

But I do care he is a genuinely awful person and an egotistical twat.

Same could be said for Roberto Mancini, but i'd still let him have a go on the missus...and for the record, so would she.

Yes, but he’d be our egotistical twat! ;-)
Having not personally met the guy I can’t pass judgment on his character.
He is nevertheless still a brilliant player even at his age….but it wouldn’t sit right with me either having him here.

Exactly. There are members here who call Tevez a dick, etc. Whilst Carlos didn't do himself any favours in his spat with Roberto, Stephen Ireland said Carlos was one of the nicest guys at the club. At Christmas he'd show up with a lorry full of flat screen televisions for everyone at the club. Not just the players, but the backroom staff, cleaning crew, cooks, etc.

Yes. Ronaldo has an image. It may be spot on or it might be completely opposite of how he is in his personal life. Kind of like a "heel" in professional wrestling perhaps?

We coped well last season but doubt we'll do as well this season.
We're crying out for a top class striker now Aguero isn't here and Levy knows this. I think we should stick to our guns and not be bullied into paying over the odds. And walk away if we need to.
