Cristiano Ronaldo

No. We’ve had plenty of players cross over the divide, some more successfully than others.

Ronaldo is an arrogant, egotistical, self obsessed prick. He’s everything that United resemble, and I don’t want our club associated with that.

Our latest documentary is called Together, which I believe embodies the NDA of this squad. Ronaldo is all about himself.
Nailed it mate. Agree with everything you said. I'd put Messi in that bracket too, as much as would loved him here it's to much of a circus.
I wouldn't have Ronaldo here even in his prime.

Since United is your club, you should ask yourself that.

Apologies for the tardiness, I missed this one earlier.

What kind of circus happened in Italy? I’m genuinely curious. His disruption is far less than Messi’s at clubs. He does his job and doesn’t make many demands. Him being arrogant and self-centered is a personality trait. When did it affect clubs? Even his agent didn’t cause trouble on his behalf.

Yeah, I can't recall a single incident that reported FakeRon kickin' off at one of his clubs. Folk might not like personality, and I detested him at The Swamp, but a goal's a goal!

Ronaldo and Messi's teams do well and you don't hear too much complaining from their other players. I would expect that they are both pretty decent team mates, considering their place in the history of the sport.

I've never met the Geezer, so couldn't say. I judge everyone on how they treat me to be honest. I've had warnings about people I've subsequently met & some have been spot on, some over egged & others waaaaaay off the mark. To be honest, the same has happened to me.

Several years ago, I was starting a new risky venture & I knew a former employee would be ideal for a crucial position. However, the dude had stabbed me in the back to create an opportunity for himself previously, & even though it all turned to shit for him, I swallowed my pride & asked him to be part of this new venture.

We were never gonna be best buddies, but on a professional level we made it work & the venture proved highly successful. I'd never put him in a position where I had to trust him, because if he stiffed me once, he could do it again, but I managed to rise above my personal feelings for the fella to concentrate on the bigger picture.

For all Blues with similar feelings about Ronaldo, we need goals & someone who can score penalties! Couldn't you put your dislike for him to one side for Manchester City's sake?
I believe that my comments are putting Manchester City first.

The one thing we have and alway will have you is the ability to laugh at ourselves. That’s one of the things I truly love about supporting City.

What you’re talking about is a seasons success on the field, whilst I’m taking about protecting our identity

I honestly don't get how & why Ronaldo would affect our identity. I'm struggling to recall any grief he's caused at the clubs he's been at.

I've never met him, so I don't know what his personality is like. I've seen Tevez & Yaya cause way more grief at City than I've ever heard from Ronaldo, but we dealt with it & moved on to bigger & better things..... Unless I'm missing something? \0/

Ronaldo goal celebration or Sane back tattoo? Sane back tattoo or Ronaldo goal celebration? Not sure which is worse.

I know someone who did a bit of driving for him. Ferried him round Manchester for a couple of days. He said he was really courteous and polite, and not as he expected. It`s just a crossing of that white line that makes them a different person.

As for this thread I bet there`s a lot of flapping Rags posting.

He’s clearly a fantastic player and huge drawer commercially. Top 5 of all time realistically.

He’s getting on but he’s arguably the most professional of all time the way he’s looked after himself.

that said he’s far far far to involved with United for us to ever think about signing him.

Also I don’t think there’s any chance he’d want to come here either. Unless he’s seriously flapping about Messi winning another couple of CL’s.

Not exactly the same but similar, Lampard was Chelsea. (Yes. I know he didn't start there.) He even went back to attempt to manage them.

He never seemed to have an issue going out and giving his all for us that season he was here.

In FakeRon's world anyone not picking up half a million a week he would regard as a slave! Did he ever go on strike, agitate through his agent or the press?
He merely said a comment by Sepp Blatter made sense. Never came from him and he never said “I am a slave” lol. And that was in 2008.
