Harry Kane

Glad we sent all our big wigs down to a Hertfordshire hotel to be told young Harry was getting upset over a shirt number, if there's one thing that needs to be done face to face it's telling people how upset you are you've not got your preferred number

Bridge was presented on the pitch pre match before Forest dumped us out of the cup at home but was probably sorted the night before tbf.
Should have known immediately that the signing was doomed to fail
 
Really, really starting to flap, mainly due to the noise that we aren’t going to cut our losses and get someone else if it doesn’t happen

the thought of wasting one of Peps final 2 years and a year of De Bruynes peak with no serviceable striker is bizarre.

We needed a striker last summer put it off till this year, surely we can’t do it again.

Next year we’ll need a DM and a left back at least next summer as well.

It would be a dismal failure in both strategy and execution by our recruitment team. I can’t believe they would be so incompetent given the stakes so I still have full faith it will get over the line

Kane will have sponsors who have a vested interest in which shirt number he wears, he will have image rights that need to be considered. I think it’s really shortsighted and of city to make such a blunder. Kane’s people have the right to be pissed off about the situation.

Saying that, the bigger picture is Kane signs for City, plays the beautiful game under Pep, wins trophies, builds is brand that way. I’m sure this will all be sorted.

If city promised him the number then gave it to Jack then I can understand, but for me he either wants to win trophys or he doesn't, if he decides not to sign over this then he's clearly not what we need. My opinion is it will have no bearing at all.
