I don't remember Edin Džeko winning us the Champions League when he was in his prime at City for four seasons, so that seems a stretch to me. He's got 22 career goals in the competition. Not really comparable with Cristiano Ronaldo's record in terms of being a difference maker in the Champions League

Unpopular opinion but I'd sign him. Guys a phenom and still is as regimented in the training room keeping peak physical condition.
