Couldn't agree more, imagine that tosser wearing our shirt doing his little dance when he scores no thanks my level of dislike for the guy as a footballer would go to a different level

He has a history that doesn't line up with ours, and i can only think of Rooney as a worse choice to ever don the shirt...

he’s without a doubt one of the best to ever step onto the pitch, but the thought of him in a city shirt sends cold shivers down my spine.

I can only see Ronaldo coming here for one of two reasons

1. He is United through and through and wants to come here to be a cock.
2. He knows it’s his last hurrah and he wants to play at a club that can win everything now, because he doesn’t have 5 years to wait for another up and coming club.

Whatever you think of Ronaldo (I think he is a tit like most others) the guy is a winner and if he comes here, it’s surely because he is motivated to win whatever he can before he hangs up his boots?

If nothing else, it’s probably only a deal like this that sees us get anything like value for Bernardo. Ronaldo + cash for Bernie? I will have some of that.

There will be no “Ronaldo plus cash”, it’ll be us laying out the money with Bernie to them on loan.
 
I reckon we should detach ourselves from personal feelings about him. I understand why he's an annoying twat and you don't want players like this in the team on a visceral level, but I reckon eventually the decision has to be "does this make sense on a footballing level". Could be no - he is 36, wages are high, maybe doesn't fit the mold of the team. But if the opposition is "I'd be annoyed that he'd celebrate goals too cringy" then we should probably find different reasons to oppose him
