Harry Kane

It might be that we hear absolutely nothing on this right until the window slams shut. City have never come out and said we're actively pursuing signing Kane. Pep has said he likes Kane but he's a Tottenham player, that's all we've had, who knows if any bids have actually gone in for him.

I think we may have to accept this is unlikely to happen. I started to doubt it once Kane played on Sunday. Not impossible there could be another change but I think that's unlikely. Hopefully we do have a plan b as we need a striker.
Makes no difference whatsoever that he played on Sunday. What about players sold in the January transfer window that have played previous games and a lot longer than 10 minutes!!

That's not quite right, Pep said that Spurs wouldn't negotiate so nothing will happen.

To be fair he did say kane is a player we wanted to sign and if spurs are willing to we will negotiate with them

Which he never usually says

What difference does that make? Didn’t both Milner and Nasri feature in the opening games for their clubs before we signed them a few days later ?

Expressing a wish to leave is a basic human right. If an employer decided to dock me of my bonuses, albeit I carried on working to the best of my ability & fully contributed to the efforts that led to the success, I'd be fuckin pissed & I think the employer would have a serious contractual issue on his hands.

It's not as if asking to leave is a breach of contract??? Perhaps others with more legal expertise could chip in & clarify???
I can't help with the legal bit but I once got stiffed out of over £10k in bonuses, (and this was last century btw), just because my boss got pissed that I'd been sticking my finger up his wife's arse. Petty doesn't even begin to cover it.

Before you all judge me, there's a fair bit more context to this tawdry tale.
