Name me any player that we have signed in the past 3 or 4 years,that you hadn't heard of,or knew something about them,that were not a fashionable name,I can think of 3 at the most at present,that are part of the first team squad to this day,three maybe four tops.

Ferran Torres, Dias, Rodri, Ederson wasn’t a household name, Laporte wasn’t hugely successful he was at Bilbao and wasn’t an international player, I’d never heard of Sane.

As for the list who were supposedly superstars; Mahrez was a well known premiership player, Mendy had burst onto the scene after one good season with Monaco same with Bernardo

Id say it’s probably 50 50 with well known and unknowns. We definitely don’t only sign players who are “stars”

Not as pointless as saying we were 2 games away from a quad - without a striker. Add a striker, particularly Kane or Ronaldo, and that increases the chance of that quad, especially the CL game where we absolutely needed one.

Mbappe can literally walk away for free next summer. Kane will still have 2 years left on his contract next summer. £150m for someone with a year left is insane money.

£150m on Mbappe with a year on his contract is a bigger indication of how certain clubs operate. I'm glad that's not us.

And PSG will just fold at whatever is bid? They're going to hold out for the market value and the market value might even be £175m, its still not much more than £150m+ for Kane.

Nah, Kane needs to stop fucking around, & publicly state his wishes which puts the pressure on Spurs to find a realistic compromise, & for City to do the same too.

Whether to protect Kane's bonuses, Spurs legacy or both, Kane needs to get a grip of the situation like Mahrez & Fernandinho did & do all he can to facilitate the move.
