Harry Kane

To be honest, either way, with or without Kane, or with or without Ronaldo, I'm sure we have a contingency plan for.
It's not like we weren't scoring goals, weren't we the leading scorers? even with Sterling under scoring, and Aguero missing all season.
Torres, and Delap are sure to contribute, Jesus looks to be back to full fitness, and Sterling will hopefully be stepping up his goal contributions this season too.
There's always January, and almost a week before deadline day for a Robinho / Benjamin surprise!

Spurs have been saying Kane is staying all summer though
They were all saying city will have another go couple of days back. Now they are all out saying kane is staying and move(final bid) failed . They have been briefed by spurs.

Truth is mate nobody has a scoobies what's happening and every tosser of twitter is saying they understand which basically means they are guessing.
And to be honest it's getting very boring now, I'd personally walk away and test the water with Haaland and Mbappe.
Well the fact the two Spurs writers have written effectively the exact same thing suggests that it's a brief.

Of course that could mean anything, but it's very difficult at this late stage to figure out the difference between reporting and PR

What a long drawn out bizarre waste of time this has been, clear as day for at least 2/3 weeks it was very unlikely to happen.

We have "failed" with Sanchez, Fred, Berbatov, Kaka, Maguire and now looks like Kane.

We have dodged some huge bullets , to me we may well have dodged the biggest of them all.

And each time we have dodged those bullets we have picked up a bigger, better and cheaper and far more successful alternatives.

Work you magic Tixki.

Still think Sanchez would have been amazing for us. The reason some of the alternatives worked was also because they came into a settled team with Pep as the coach. I think a lot of the above mentioned players would have had better careers at City

if its 150m I hope we look elsewhere, just doesnt worth it.
we overpaid by at least 25m on Grealish too, no need to be hung out dry again.

and these are players that are unhappy and want to leave. yet when we have players many will say we have to accept lower fees as they are unhappy and want t leave, do we? fuck that.

Hopefully this is just another turn in the saga. I’d hate to think we’d fail to strengthen such an important area.

Imagine having the best manager in the world and asking him to work with no clinical/fit striker for 2 seasons.
