Usually gets steers from the club but pretty sure he also reported we’d agreed a deal with Spurs for Kane a week or so ago.

No fucking shit. We all know it was Kane but that's dead as a dodo now and strategies change. Would be a collosal mistake similar to not replacing Kompany to go with what we've got which is no striker.

You're over thinking this, IMHO. Pep wants as strong a squad as he can get.

So what is peps strategy for going into this season letting our greatest striker without replacing him . I think we all want to know what pep thinking. Fucking pissed off that we signed no fucking striker yet everyone in the world knows we need one .

We should have had a list of targets like with the centre backs instead of telling the whole world we only wanted kane. Now we have to compete with chelsea who have heavily strengthened including getting a very good striker with no recognized number 9.
