No chance Ronaldo would accept a 1 year contract.
Let him stay at Juve then. Haaland has to be priority next summer.

Nothing over the last decade gave me the impression the club was risking getting left behind. Quite the contrary.Shortsighted view.
Like it or not, If Ronaldo pulls on a City shirt, he'll be the biggest name we've ever signed.
He's a bona fide superstar who would significantly improve our team, sponsorship investments, and standing among 'elite' clubs.
This ain't football anymore... it's ruthless business. The club can't risk getting left behind just because fans don't like anyone with connections to the dark side.
Jesus isn’t a Mendes client. This is only happening if it’s Ronaldo one way and Bernardo the other
Ronaldo to City on a freeJesus isn’t a Mendes client. This is only happening if it’s Ronaldo one way and Bernardo the other
Because Mendy and Aké have no suitors. You can't trade players in for scrap.i don't see why ? i think city could clear out 2 or 3 and mendy ake would be first choice in my book
Only want Haaland if he signs a 15 year contract. Am I doing this rightLet him stay at Juve then. Haaland has to be priority next summer.
Then they'd owe us £40m quidJesus isn’t a Mendes client. This is only happening if it’s Ronaldo one way and Bernardo the other
Haaland isn't coming to us end of. The figures are a disgrace.Let him stay at Juve then. Haaland has to be priority next summer.
Spoilers, mate! :pTo be honest, Ronaldo reminds me of the Christian Bale character in American Psycho (the narcissism and the preening, not the serial killing side).
Anyway, if he came to us and helps us win the CL then, obviously, I'd be happy.
It's just that it would be all about him, because it always is. Call me a stupid romantic if you want but for me being a football fan is about cheering on (and feeling part of) a team that is a proper collective, of the feeling of a shared desire. Of going through the ups and downs, the near misses etc etc. I want it to be a journey that we all share/experience, both club/players and fans alike. That was what hooked me into being a football fan to begin with.
For me Ronaldo would never feel part of that "collective."
As I said at the beginning, if he comes to us and helps us win the CL then great. However, if we did it without him it would be even better...it would be "stupendous!" ;-)
- would likely be on less than he is at JuveRonaldo and his agent looking for a last payday , no thanks ,if we want to sell shirts then Messi was the option not the prancing pony.
Assuming they are City. There are loads posting on here who aren't blues.Saying it here is one thing, going on a national radio station is another
Yeah. Wouldn't surprise me one bitAssuming they are City. There are loads posting on here who aren't blues.
Ah, but did he......? ;-)Spoilers, mate! :p
there is literally no other viable option (at the level we want).
There was one job this window... replace Aguero. And the only option which can fill that void now seems to be Ronaldo. Who would have thought that?
