If he joins and stays fit.. I’m going with a 30+ goal season from him.. 40 not being beyond the realms of possibility.. he will tap them in for fun.

The thing about United fans that’s always hilarious is that they had absolutely zero reservations about money when they were the ones top spending. Now that they can’t bully other clubs anymore it’s all “the sport lost its soul” “money ruined football” “the sport is finished” etc.

The meeting between Jorge #Mendes and the #Juve for Cristiano #Ronaldo it is not at Continassa. The meeting, most likely in progress now, is in Turin but not at the club's headquarters.

 
Ronaldo is already a multi millionaire, & whilst money will be important, it won't be as important as finishing a glittering career on a high a note as possible.

A solution would be for Ronaldo to accept £15m a year on a 2 year deal. City pay Juve £10m & give em a lifetime supply of barmcakes, & also point out that they'll save £20m in the process. It's a win/win scenario all round & one I could easily live with.

City get Ronaldo, his goals & commercial circus for a combined £20m per season over the next two years whilst we see how well Torres, Delap & Jesus progress. It also leaves our powder dry for Haaland next summer. Sorted! :-)

didnt they sign Michael Owen as well, in very similar circumstances. but he turned out to be shit
