Cristiano Ronaldo

I’m staying at my sister’s in Wales with my family. I’ve missed most of what’s going on but my Mum has said she’s ready to packed me up with corned beef and red sauce barms.

I’m travelling back home today but can easily reroute to the Aerodrome if someone wants to give me a bullet point update on what’s been happening.

Is there a Go Outdoors anywhere near Eccles because the missus and kids may need to join me on this adventure?

I take it you didn't want Tevez then, and he came directly from the rags. Im not bothered either way but Ronaldo short term could win Pep(and us) the CL.

Wrong.

I was glad we got Tevez, plus he was the right age.

Ronaldo isn't, nor would he win us the CL.

Also wouldn't go down well for the younger players in the squad

Hey Blues while I am for Ronaldo to City, due to the facts already discussed by many of the blues on the thread I was wondering on ONE VERY SPECIFIC Point!

why did Pep out of the blue come out and say he is walking at the end of 2023 season? Specially after Kane confirming he is staying bad timing? Or is it that May be he got wind of Ronaldo discussions and him, Soriano and Txiki are in the No camp.

And Khaldoon has over ruled them all and said we are on. Question to well informed ones amongst us, knowing that we always try to project a cohesive front to media from the club do you think there is a divide on this amongst our top brass?
And this is a Abu Dhabi signing from Sheikh Mansour and Khaldoon specially after PSG did Messi?

cheers ;)
IF and a huge IF, if Pep is pissed he is totally out of order, he was wished for nothing from this club.

I would take what he said in the interview with a pinch of salt, their is no way he would make public his intentions, just look at how that went for the rags, when Ferguson announced he was retiring the first time.

Major difference being it would take Ronaldo 2 or 3 matches to cover the amount of ground Tevez would cover in 1.

For me, he's too old to be a regular. And he wouldn't be happy being a squad player.
We really don't need the Ronaldo circus at City. Of course he has been brilliant but is nowadays obviously over the hill. I just can't see any advantage to this proposal. Messi 12 months ago would have made sense.

Well Pep said last year that the team were running too much! He doesn't need to cover huge amounts of ground, he needs to be in the right place at the right time, and that's in front of the goal, where our current players only score 1 in 5 chances. Jeez, we only score 1 in 2 chances at penalties!!!

As for his age, in the last three full seasons, he's only missed 17 Serie A games out of 114.

It seems to me that he will not be a juve player by the end of the week, given how quickly Mendes' dealt with our side of the negotiations he is more desperate than Harry. This is too fucking funny

I've decided you're our ITK on this deal. We need our flightradar nerds now
