Exactly.
But at some point Labour have to offer something else - I guess they delay as long as possible. The longer they wait the worse brexit looks and the more appealing their alternative looks.
Let's hope so!
Exactly.

As a poster who came to the conclusion that leaving the EU was the correct thing to do, I still think it was the correct thing to do.
What posters are doing though is blaming Brexit, rather than blaming the idiots in charge of negotiating Brexit. If Labour had backed Brexit we would have a Labour government instead of this bunch of lying halfwits in charge,
Its not Brexit's fault there are problems, its the Tories fault, they never had a plan, they still don't have a plan and they make it up as they going along. What they did was what Tories do, they bought into a populist movement and let the headbangers on the far right of the Tory party dominate, the far right of the Tory party is dangerous, its not the party it used to be, it is now reactionary rather than cautious.
They got us the worst PM in our history in charge, a fool so out of his depth I would not put him charge of organising a chimps tea party. He is still lying every day, because it is all about him, Brexit was a means for him to get his name on the Eton's honour board as an alumni PM, which is all that mattered to him, the egotistical ****.
So you can keep blaming Brexit for our problems if you want, but for fucks sake have a look at why there are problems. Its not Brexit, it is the useless fucking Government we have in charge.
Why is it that even today folks cant see the logic and truth of this. And Brexit. The choice was always a simple one. Stay in the CU and SM and accept Brussels making the rules on trade or reject the CU and SM and accept higher tade barriers, increased costs, more red tape and shortages as the supply chains are disrupted by the increase in trade friction.
Pretending that there is some magical third option where we don't have to accept the pain of the decision we made is a delusion.
Fixed for you and I don’t just mean the addition of a question mark at the end of your question. Why is it that even today folks don’t want to admit the logic and truth of this?

But then again the apocalypse predicted for the economy hasn’t happened, even with a pandemic, the recovery has been fairly good - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....gh-but-staff-shortages-a-concern-covid-lloydsYep.
I'm surprised that anyone is surprised that Brexit isn't working the way they hoped, given the absolute whoppers who we have in charge of carrying it out.
Give it another 5 years or so though,I'm sure there might be some real benefit for us all.
;)
“This is not Brexit. Britain could have left Brussels and freed itself from a mass of rules and regulations. It is the result of leaving the single market”His biggest lie. I do not apologise that this is a Guardian article. I will if anyone can refute the truth of what is written.

From plummeting trade to drastic shortages of workers, needlessly leaving the single market has been disastrous, says Guardian columnist Simon Jenkinswww.theguardian.com

I guess the sensible view on Brexit is it was always going to cause issues and whether those issues were worth taking some of the power back from Brussels to London was worth it, that should have been the debate but not even our politicians knew enough to say that.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing as I didn’t have a clue in 2016 and didn’t really until this year.
There’s not much sense ever in politics mate. I just think humans are eejitsI've more or less stopped posting on this thread regularly, apart from the odd occasion,as I'm resigned to what's going on.
Had a chuckle about using "sensible" as there hasn't been much sense about the mess this government have made.
ah! A brexiter! Nice one mate and so glad you have joined us. So tell us how leaving the single market has benefited us? Anything you like.“This is not Brexit. Britain could have left Brussels and freed itself from a mass of rules and regulations. It is the result of leaving the single market”
Who dictates the rules and regulations of the single market?
Leaving the EU and remaining in the Single Market is essentially pulling our chair away from the table but allowing the table to dictate to us still.
I’m not a brexiteer, what made you think that from what I said?ah! A brexiter! Nice one mate and so glad you have joined us. So tell us how leaving the single market has benefited us? Anything you like.

It is true though.Leaving the EU and remaining in the Single Market is essentially pulling our chair away from the table but allowing the table to dictate to us still.
is a well worn line
