The way Pep said it after the game was clumsy, I have heard a lot of blues opinions on this and they all felt it was a dig. Kevin merely aired his annoyance. Guardiola explained himself today but too late damage done. They say all publicity is good publicity, but for all the good things the club do the PR is fucking amateurish, if we are going to keep everything in house bar the managers required interviews he will fuck up.
The club needs a rethink on how it works with the media, they way it communicates with it and the messaging it puts out. This year has been dreadful, starting with powderpuff piece by the chairman after the CL final nothing is coherent.

Kevin Parker should have played it smarter and mentioned the fact there were 45K fans at the game and with a proper Leipzig support the numbers would have been nearer to 50k, and that pep must have been mis quoted.....simple really.

There has clearly been a campaign against our club for some time, we all know it originates from the Yank owned clubs and the "elite" istory clubs.

We as a club have sat on our hands and let it get out of control, to me it's a form of bullying, well it's long overdue to give the bullies a bloody nose for starters, a shot over the bows, a warning.

We as a club look incredible weak, and that is from a blue tinted view, the clubs attacking us must be laughing at just how weak we are.

This week one of the clubs behind all this had yet another embarrassing European defeat against a under-dog, on Wednesday night after we scored 6 goals, we as a club should have gone on the offensive in the media, what did we do? question the support and loyalty of our own, utterly bizarre.

Agree with it all! Until have a city pr department with someone who runs it with the know how and intelligence it will never end! Hate the scum but employing Ashton paying him around 5m a year to get on top of everything negative is what we need!

We have Pep who runs everything no one questions him and is our PR department..


Maybe when Pep leaves it will change but doubt it..
 
The anti- City media are having a field day because of this forum. It’s the only way they can gain insights into the mood of a large number of fans. Pep dropped a bollock no doubt, but the anger on here has been picked up the journos ,who we know,like to unsettle and besmirch the club at every opportunity. So in someways we have created this shit-storm. The media are not really interested in the truth but look to perpetuate ‘the little club with no fans ‘myth.
 
Just listened to Peps interview again. He invited supporters to come on Saturday to drive the team on. How anybody can take offence at that beggers belief. So if someone invites you to a party because more people make a better atmosphere, who would take offence. Are some of these people on that columbian marching powder stuff. Anyway today I will be singing Peps song and standing up if anyone starts "stand up for Pep" lets put these muppets back in their box.

exactly everyone here should singularly focus on demonizing the media not Pep. They are the one responsible for all the fake attendance news nonsense. If you are angry with Pep you have fallen for their trap.
 
Sly saying he will leave if people want him too is a wankfest for rags and dippers. Get behind your team and manager!! Lets see the headlines if we have a rousing atmosphere egging our boys in blue on , and cheering the best manager on too.

Why is it just not possible for the clubs attendance facts to be stated as they are?
We have a higher stadium % attendance than utd and Liverpool.
We have many games to play and pay for, and just coming off the back of a very tough year.
We don't have the proportion of tourist 'stat padder' fans like the red tops do.
The record attendance of any English team ever belongs to Man City.
The actual attendance was 45k, which is impressive.

We are the fucking champions and show some respect!!
