Haha, I've heard about a player's reputation getting bigger the fewer games he plays but this is getting ridiculous!

Something tells me Pep won't be giving a starting league debut to a kid returning from injury away at Anfield, but I've been wrong before!!

How many games did Sterling, Jesus or Ferran were poor as CF ?

If Pep can forgive them and give another chance why not give our youngster a similar chance ?

I think there's 10 players that are nailed on to start.

--------------------Ederson
Walker-----Dias-----Laporte-----Cancelo
----------------------Rodri
----------------KDB--------Silva
Jesus----------------?---------------------Foden

I have no idea who the best option through the middle is anymore.
Ederson up front

Not worried about anything they have, more so the referee.
Foden to play the false 9 and overload arnold, he can't defend and that's where we'll run riot.
Scouse vermin
I’d prefer to see Grealish played there and get Foden running at their fullback rather than wasted up there. Grealish is bigger and stronger and should be better with his back to goal than Phil. Just feel like Foden is completely wasted there and is still the best wide left attacker we have. If not then play him as a number 8.

Ederson
Walker, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo
Rodri
Bernardo, Foden
Jesus, Torres, Grealish
That would be my team also.
I think we start KDB on the bench because we'll need to work from the off and see how the game goes.

Our best bet is to play with the same kind of qualities as the last two games, and hope for that clinical edge.

Liverpool are like PSG in that they can do nothing and still score. But in theory if we play well we're restricting them to requiring something special over just playing through us.

Based on how we've played lately I don't think the crowd will get to the team this time around.

As always at Liverpool, and especially for us this season, first goal is huge, I expect they’ll charge out of the blocks. We’ll have to weather that storm, hopefully more successfully than last night. If we keep them out the first 25 minutes or so then the crowd will quieten down. Regardless when our chances arrive, we’ll have to take them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool look at PSG last night as inspiration. Push hard the first 20, hope for a breakthrough and then put 8 behind the ball with their forwards playing high to ready to counter.

Gueye said it was easy to defend against city as they have no pace.

Will be a minute's silence before the game for Roger Hunt's sad passing. Atmosphere could go either way once the whistle goes for kick off.
